Message definition (Speed Limit Signs)

Speed limit signs are pole-mounted structures found on the right side of {{pll|Railway Terminology|tracks}}, designed to inform of the maximum speed that {{pll|Rail Vehicle Types|rail vehicles}} are allowed to travel at. The limit applies to the section ahead of the sign, all the way up to the next speed limit sign or a {{pll|Switches & Switch Signs|switch}}, whichever comes first.

Las señales de límite de velocidad son señales circulares blancas con un contorno rojo ubicadas sobre el lado derecho de las vías, con un número que informa la velocidad máxima a la que puede viajar el tren. El límite se aplica a la sección tras la señal, hasta la siguiente señal de límite de velocidad o un cambio de agujas, lo que se encuentre antes.
