Message definition (Speed Limit Signs)

The speed that the sign is limiting to is usually dictated by the physical properties of the track ahead, namely the turn radius of its curves. Going any faster than the limit poses a risk of {{pll|Derailing|derailment}}.

Die durch das Signal begrenzte Geschwindigkeit wird normalerweise durch die physikalischen Eigenschaften der vorausliegenden Strecke bestimmt, das heißt durch den Radius der Bögen. Schneller als diese Beschränkung zu fahren, birgt das Risiko einer Entgleisung.
