Message definition (Speed Limit Signs)

The speed that the sign is limiting to is usually dictated by the physical properties of the track ahead, namely the turn radius of its curves. Going any faster than the limit poses a risk of {{pll|Derailing|derailment}}.

De snelheid wat een bord aan geeft, wordt meestal bepaald door de fysieke eigenschappen van het spoor die voor je ligt, met name de scherpte van de bochten. Sneller gaan dan de limiet vormt een risico op ontsporing.
