Le merci HAZMAT sono un tipo di carico composto da materiali pericolosi. In caso di incidente, possono verificarsi danni significativi, specialmente all’ambiente.
In order to take delivery orders involving HAZMAT cargo, you need an appropriate license. There are three tiers of HAZMAT licenses, each granting access to increasingly more dangerous cargo:
- Tier 1 - Flammable, asphyxiating and oxidizing materials
- Tier 2 - Explosive, corrosive and toxic materials
- Tier 3 - Biohazardous and radioactive materials
HAZMAT licenses need to be acquired successively, and require you to already own the Fragile license, which allows transporting cargo that is highly sensitive to collisions.
