Amp limiter is a gadget that allows finer control over an electric motorized rail vehicle’s amperage output, helping prevent traction motor overloads or wheelslip .

This gadget features a setting that sets desired amperage to limit the powertrain to. If the vehicle reaches the limit, it will automatically cut the amperage and the device will flash a light while doing so.

The amp limiter requires electrical connections to function.
