Message definition (Sander)

While sand can notably improve traction quality, it only does so on motorized vehicles that deploy the sand, but not those trailing. If {{pll|Wheelslip|wheelslip}} is the issue this is sufficient, because only motorized vehicles need improved grip, but if a whole train is {{pll|Wheelslide|wheelsliding}}, for example, sander alone won't solve the problem.

Även om sand kan hjälpa drastiskt mot förlust av dragkraft, gör den det bara på motordrivna fordon. Vid behov av dragkraft kan detta vara tillräckligt, eftersom det bara är motordrivna fordon som gör jobbet, men när det behövs bromskraft kanske det inte räcker eftersom det inte finns något sätt att tillföra sand till vagnarna, vilket också kan vara hjulglidande.
