Message definition (Reverser)

Reverser is a control device found on {{pll|Rail Vehicle Types|motorized rail vehicles}}, used to set their moving direction. It is typically controlled by a lever found in the vehicle's {{pll|Rail Vehicle Types|cab}}. Besides forward and reverse, reversers also feature a neutral setting, which disengages {{pll|Rail Vehicle Types|drivetrains}} altogether, akin to a {{pll|Mechanical Transmission|gearbox}}.

逆轉機是一種控制裝置，通常透過操縱桿進行操作，用於切換動力車輛的行駛方向：前進、後退、或空檔；空檔通常會使車輪與動力總成完全分離。在車輛行駛中不應該操作逆轉機，以免導致動力總成徹底失效。也因此，逆轉機通常必須在油門或動力軔機完全放鬆之後才能進行操作。
