Cargo transfer is a machine found next to tracks dedicated for cargo transfer (loading and unloading). It features a display, listing the tracks it serves and types of cargo it can load or unload from cars . Pulling the lever on it initiates cargo transfer to or from cars that are scheduled to be loaded or unloaded on that track by a delivery order .

For a train to be registered as "in range", it needs to be fully present on the track and stationary.
