Beds are used to sleep, in order to skip time and bad weather. They are found in station offices, your home and the caboose.
Sleeping is only advisable when not having active delivery orders which can still be completed within the time bonus deadline.
After sleeping all motorized vehicles are shut down and reset to their default resting state.
