Handcar/bg

Handcar is a work train used to quickly traverse distances via rail. It needs to be unlocked first in order to become available to the driver. To unlock it, the driver must buy a key to a special garage in one of the shops, find the garage and open it.

The handcar can be requested using the comms radio , for free. it cannot be damaged and it doesn't have service costs.

The handcar is propelled by manually pumping a mechanical arm up and down, in rhythmic fashion, and features a simple hand-operated mechanical brake .
